You have 2 Assignments
Assignments will not be accepted after your final test date. Each is worth 5% of your final grade. Make sure to get them done, and remember – if you turn it in – you get full credit – so do your best but be sure to turn something in. The places to go list and the tour lobby list provide many options, but you may chose other locations at your discretion.
Assignment 1: Visit Places – Tour Outline OR Location Review
Create a Tour/Destination Outline OR do a Location/Attraction Tour Guide’s Review. See instructions here: Location/Attractions to Visit – Outline or Tour Guide Review
Please post your outline or review on the closed group Facebook page with either the hashtag #outline or #review and the name of the tour/destination or location/attraction.
Assignment 2: Know Tour Lobbies/Meeting Places
Study and Documenting of Tour Lobbies/Meeting Spots: Each class member will choose 2 hotel lobbies, meeting spots, and/or airport locations to document, as explained in the following info sheet: Tour Lobby Assignment Instructions & Choice Selections.
Your tour lobby information should be submitted to the Class Facebook Group’s page using the hashtag #LVTourLobby and the name of the property. Alternatively (not preferred) you may email your work to the class leaders. Yours may not look like this, use your own skills (videos are fine, too!), but here is an example of a completed tour lobby assignment: Harrah’s Tour Lobby
