Look a little different since the last time you were here? Hope so. We are rebuilding the website to better serve the members as well as the guests who come here to searching for the best guides in Las Vegas.

    As time goes on, we will be moving the files from the old site onto this one. Adding the features most requested and ones that will help promote the members services. Better listings, more detailed member information and more news and articles about the tour industry on and around Las Vegas.

    Over fifty three hundred members of the Travel Industry Association, which represents tour and travels organizations from all over the world, attended the 40th annual Pow Wow convention. This year's event was hosted in Las Vegas and members of the Las Vegas Tourist Guides Guild shared their expertise and knowledge.

    Tour Guides from our Guild showed the attendees the sights and sounds of Las Vegas. Each tour was unique and as individual as the tour guide who provided the tour. Those tour guides received compensation in the form of showing these attendees why they should hire them. These tour guides demonstrated not only their knowledge of Las Vegas and its history, but also showed the professionalism their future clients and guests would experience. These attendees experienced Las Vegas as a 'tourist' and received the insider's guide to Las Vegas.

    Summertime is the busy time for the tour professional. With that thought in mind, the LVTGG has suspended the monthly meetings for the summer. Look forward to new meetings and programs in September.
