Las Vegas Tourist Guides Guild - 2024 New Member Application
Fields noted with an asterix * are required. After submitting the form, you will be redirected to the dues page where can can pay your dues online using credit, debit, or PayPal. Unless advised otherwise, memberships are valid per calendar year, January through December.
The new member dues for an annual individual membership with the Las Vegas Tourist Guides Guild is $25 plus a one time administrative fee of $15 (total of $40).

Membership in the LVTGG designates your agreement to maintain the maximum degree of professionalism by adhering to the Association’s Code of Ethics
To promote our members, and our collective and individual professionalism, it is the guild's goal that all members attain certification by the guild as "Certified Professional Las Vegas Tour Guides" (CPTG).
To be certified by the guild, there are two requirements.
- 1) the member must have verified work experience as a professional guide, and
- 2) the member must successfully complete the guild's CPTG training program.
The online Members Page notes those members who have met both qualifications and attained certification, but the two qualifications are also individually listed so that each member's qualifications are recognized.
Fields are provided in the application for you to submit your work experience for verification. Alternatively, you may leave the application fields blank and email this information to info@lvtgg.com, Attn: Membership Director. Please put your name and "Work Experience Verification" in the email header.
CPTG Training Program
The Certified Professional Las Vegas Tour Guide (CPTG) training program is primarily independent self-study as opposed to having set weekly classes. The greatest benefit is that you can join and begin the training program at any time and complete your studies on your own schedule. There will be only two required meetings, one for training members to give a short portion of a tour and one for testing. The cost of the program is $75, making the total cost of your 2024 dues and the CPTG Program $115.
Until further notice, if you join the guild, register and pay online for the CPTG Training, you will receive a total reduced rate of $100. To register for the certification training program, simply check the applicable box on the registration form and then on the payment page use the drop down menu to choose and pay the option which includes the CPTG program fee with your New Member dues (be sure to use the drop down menu on the payment page).
