We have another great “Invite Only” Event planned for September.
Join The Vegas Tourist Guides Guild, “invite only” networking event for tour professionals at the National Atomic Testing Museum for a tour and briefing on their programs. This event is free, but please RSVP to thanksbabs@gmail.com.
What to See
The New Area 51, Myth or Reality exhibit is now open, so learn about the most secret place in America. This first ever exhibit has been developed with the help of the very people that worked there and will explore the real truth, the real programs and the secrecy that surrounds the base at Groom Lake. In addition to changing temporary exhibits the National Atomic Testing Museum showcases its collection of more than 12,000 unique artifacts in educational and inspiring exhibits.
There is something for everyone to experience in dynamic displays presenting the history of the development and testing of one of man’s most significant inventions, a nuclear bomb. Experience a simulated atmospheric bomb blast, explore how man came to make the first atomic bomb, learn about the numerous tests at the Nevada Test Site and around the world, see the technology and science that took nuclear testing underground, discover how natural and man-made radiation is tracked, monitored and measured and much more.
We send a huge thank you to Executive Director Allan Palmer for arranging our complimentary tour.
