LVTGG Members are going places!

The Las Vegas Tourist Guides Guild is vital to the Las Vegas tourism community and visitors because of you – our smart, talented, curious, and involved members. The low dues are one of our most beneficial expenses for 2019.

Some of the important benefits of membership are:

  • Listing on our website’s Members Page, www.lvtgg.com/members. Be sure to review your listing and make sure your information is correct. Many guides receive regular communication from companies interested in hiring guides; these companies will contact you directly. One hour of work gained through your listing pays for yearly dues – what a bargain! If you wish to make any updates to your listing, this can be noted when submitting your renewal.
  • Knowledge & recognition gained from being a LVTGG Member and becoming a LVTGG Certified Professional Las Vegas Tour Guide via the CPTG Training and Certification Program. CPTG Members are recognized on the website’s Members Page and a separate Certified Guide page.
  • Relevant gatherings, networking and educational events, often with complimentary admission to attractions and sites. Watch for emails and RSVP for these enjoyable and valuable meetings.
  • Continuing education site inspections and familiarization trips.
  • The LVCVA recommends the guild web site when tour guide requests come to their offices.
  • LVTGG brochures are distributed to national & regional travel shows, directly and through partner associations. The information on the brochure leads the reader to visit our web site (and find you!).
  • Interesting tidbits of regional and Vegas information from our board members, educational instructors, and Facebook page create timely exchange of ideas, facts, and relevant material that you can pass on to your clients.
  • Active Facebook and Twitter pages. Check out our pages and post your pictures, comments, useful tidbits, and area updates. Your voice and expertise can and should be part of the dialogue for others to see.

Keep on traveling!
